Assistant Manager Responsibilities will include but, may not be limited to : Supporting and assisting the General Manager, on an as-needed basis with scheduling, inventory, ordering, cost control, crew management, interviewing and hiring, and orientation Sharing in the responsibility of daily operations, with an emphasis on customer service, drive time, direct labor, and cost of goods Facilitating crew member training and cross-training , following up regularly with trainers and trainees to promote consistency and employee retention Prioritizing safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant Ensuring compliance with all food and beverage regulations Supporting as needed in all positions throughout the restaurant Developing relationships with dine-in, and drive-thru guests Holding crew accountable for, attendance, uniforms, prep, portioning, product rotation, date labelling, and cleaning and sanitation Upholding the company's Progressive Discipline Policy, supporting supervisors' first-level disciplinary action, as well as issuing second level-and-above discipline as needed Handling guest complaints using GRACE to provide a quality customer experience Attending and actively participating in management meetings Leading the team through example by upholding company policies, service standards, and health department regulations Offering constructive feedback and positive reinforcement to hourly crew members throughout each shift and through the use of employee evaluations Promoting successful store communication through regular use of email, shift recaps, Hot Schedules, written notices, etc.
