The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of their assigned shift, including financial controls, inventory management, cash handling, ensuring profitability, and maintaining positive customer relations. The role requires setting a strong example for the crew and ensuring strict adherence to all company policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities may include staffing, paperwork, food management, adherence to company standards, providing great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, maintaining store cleanliness, and local store marketing. The Assistant Manager must also work well with team members and other store management.
