Summary The Assistant Manager - IT Application is vital for overseeing the vehicle tracking management system, which integrates with the legacy system ITMS to generate and share critical data. This role requires strong proficiency in SQL for database management and Java for web programming, as well as responsibility for maintaining and improving both systems. Additionally, the position involves managing the inventory and maintenance of system devices and necessitates a foundational understanding of communication technologies like Network and GPS to ensure reliable system performance.

Requirements

  • DB Programming Experience (PL/SQL or T-SQL) Required
  • Java, .NET, C#, Javascript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, DOM, Git/SVN Required
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Java and Java EE Required
  • Excellent business analysis, test planning, activity planning skills Required
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies Required
  • Good written and verbal communication skills: must be able to effectively convey and document designs and processes Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 6 - 9 years of direct experience in Information Technology Required
  • 1 - 3 Years of Supervisory Experience Required
  • 1 Year of Indirect Experience Required
  • Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
  • Able to travel on rare occasions

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate tracking records for vehicle locations

  • Monitor device performance and coordinate timely maintenance and repairs
  • Technical Support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in web and mobile applications
  • Leverage expertise in Java programming and database management to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • User Requirements Coordination
  • Gather user requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications
  • Collaborate with system development teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs
  • Vendor Maintenance Coordination
  • Coordinate with external vendors on maintenance tasks
