About The Position

Product strategy that drives sales and reinforces Brand equity: Manage the development and execution of our seasonal Influencer kits. Create product mix proposals for NOAM Specialty Store GWPs and Nordstrom Anniversary GWPs, ensuring they are relevant, innovative and within budget. Once approved, execute through all support teams. Finance and budget management: Manage Department's $125m Comp and Photography Budget. Monitor and identify all expenditures, remain on Budget. Identify potential concerns and make recommendations. Develop new fiscal year targets based on prior year spend and learnings. Manage the GWP $310m tooling budget which covers spend for Global Seasonal GWP. Review reports issued by finance and ensured all items are correctly categorized and captured. Drive resolution for items incorrectly charged. Ensure we remain on budget, and analyze current spend to identify areas that can be reduced to cover incremental programs. Manage department comp process. The process encompasses planning, identifying, and executing all required comps for turnover to Creative, Merchandising, Sales, and International Affiliates. This includes initiating the request to the outside vendor, monitoring status, getting estimates, and approving costs are within budget guidelines, and most importantly identifying opportunities to reduce spend. Champion, drive, and build internal digital/social opportunities to meet customers where they are: Have a digital first mindset in creation of all programs and campaign planning. Have complete knowledge in social media and be an active user. Develop comprehensive Story Telling strategies for Regional GWP programs complete with online strategies incorporating social engagement, to drive offline purchases and activities in store to drive retail during promotional periods. Take the lead as the Department point person for social media. Prepare market analysis for all competitive GWPs and maintain a current library for reference. Identify opportunities for our segment to play in this fast⁃growing media. Connect with Consumer Engagement team to keep abreast of latest trends. Manage the collaborative partnership with all support teams, ensuring accurate information cascading: Maintain offering documents for all programs including compiling photos and maintaining accurate line lists and costs. Issue updates to all groups ensuring all support groups have the correct up to date information. Prepare and issue turnover lists for Creative photography. Prepare each gift mix complete with all choices to be photographed, along with the line list for the Creative team. Coordinate RRT meeting needs. This includes the creation of the list of requirements, issuing to Creative and tracking all elements are turned over on time. Maintain EL GWP History books as well as competitive history books⁃ complete with advertising ROP, Catalog and Online. Collect all competitive gifts. Analyze the competition and identify trends and opportunities to stay ahead of competition. Maintain and issue GWP bag list for all programs. Ensuring accurate and up to date costs are captured. Complete GMW work requests for all GWP programs. Prepare and maintain Competitive Qualifier documents for the programs. Compile complete packaging requirement list of components and work with the appropriate teams to collect components needed. Collaborate with team members to maintain Shade Library for Department. Coordinate photo shoots for offerings and sell in requirements. Manage meeting set ups to include securing locations, setting product mixes on trays, and preparing the room.
