Assistant Manager/Dietary Services
About The Position
At Heritage Hall Tazewell, we find joy in the little things. An Assistant Food and Nutrition Manager works closely with our clinical team to ensure that each Resident has a nutritional meal while still enjoying food that they love. Communication and teamwork is essential to provide meals to a large amount of Residents with specific wants and needs. They will also support the Director of Food and Nutrition and help with tasks as needed by the Supervisor. If you love to feed the hungry and provide a drink to the thirsty with personal interaction that cannot be satisfied by any job, you should consider joining our team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of state or ADA approved course in food services
- Experience in an institutional food service operation
- One-year supervisory experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form
- Ability to communicate with a wide variety of individual
- Knowledge of dietary services practices and procedures
- Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary services in a long-term care facility
