About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY The Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage is responsible for supporting the efficient, profitable operation of front‑of‑the‑house food service outlets. This position assists in planning, directing, and supervising daily Food & Beverage operations while ensuring exceptional guest service, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with six (6) years of restaurant experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory role; or Bachelor’s degree in Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or a related field with three (3) years of restaurant experience, including one (1) year in a supervisory role.
  • Must obtain and maintain all required licenses and certifications per federal, state, and gaming regulations.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be at least twenty‑one (21) years of age.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations in high‑volume environments.
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage labor, budgets, and inventory.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience opening new properties or outlets is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of front‑of‑the‑house food service outlets to ensure efficiency, profitability, and service excellence.
  • Foster a guest‑focused environment that promotes repeat visitation and positive guest relations.
  • Hire, train, coach, schedule, evaluate, and supervise front‑of‑the‑house team members.
  • Maintain staff morale through effective leadership, communication, and training.
  • Assist with budgeting, labor controls, and inventory management to meet financial objectives.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, service levels, and operational performance; implement improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage to analyze food costs, forecast business trends, and recommend menu pricing or promotional adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including gaming, health, and safety requirements.
  • Conduct routine inspections of front‑of‑the‑house areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and asset protection.
  • Investigate, resolve, and document guest complaints and service recovery efforts.
  • Coordinate with the Culinary, Marketing, and Player Development teams for special events and promotions.
  • Assist with operations across all Food & Beverage outlets as business needs require.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Attend training sessions, seminars, or meetings as required.
