About The Position

Assists the Box Office Manager and supports the Citywide Concierge Coordinator in managing daily entertainment operations, 3rd party and concierge services at the box office. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating and monitoring performance; rewarding, motivating, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Responsible for VIP, Producer, and Executive ticketing at the direction of the Box Office Manager. Responsible for seat inventory management as directed by the Box Office Manager. Oversee submissions and work directly with the Event Creation team for the building and accuracy of the events in the ticketing system. Ensure smooth and efficient ticketing operations. Maintains optimal staffing levels and scheduling Provide work direction, coaching, and motivation to employees. Responsible for all Box Office locations, theater operations, and all Box Office personnel in absence of the Box Office Manager. Acts as liaison between box office and accounting departments in balancing daily work and researching all box office credit card charge back's. Review guest complaints and take appropriate action for resolution Supervision and training of Box Office Supervisors, Box Office Leads, and Box Office Ticket Sellers. Leads development and implementation of departmental policies and special projects. Accuracy in all job-related duties. Approval of Ticket Seller schedules and PTO requests. Familiar with HR and Compliance policies and procedures. Knowledgeable/adept at ticketing systems and procedures. Ensure smooth and efficient ticketing operations. Maintains optimal staffing levels and work environment. Provide work direction and motivation to employees. In absence of the Box Office Manager, the Assistant Box Office Manager will assume Box Office Manager Duties. DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: Box Office Supervisor Box Office Lead Agent Box Office Agent

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Three to five years of ticketing and box office experience
  • Minimum of two years experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Extensive customer service is required
  • Must have computer experience with both ticketing software, Windows applications, and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Ticket Master software experience is preferred
