About The Position

Loudon Endoscopy Group is seeking an Assistant ASC Manager in Lansdowne, VA to join their team and to help drive patient success in the community. The role is for a passionate Registered Nurse who understands patient vulnerability and can positively impact their experiences. This is a Monday through Friday position with no nights, on calls, or weekends. Loudon Endoscopy Group is a team of gastroenterology professionals delivering reliable, high-quality digestive care, backed by One GI®, focusing on patient care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered Nurse.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in gastrointestinal endoscopy, preferred.
  • Previous managerial experience preferred.
  • Membership in local, state and national societies encouraged.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or health management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as point person for day-to-day unit, staff and physician needs.
  • Keep patient flow at a tempo that allows timely attention to the patient and efficient running of the endoscopy unit.
  • Assist staff nurses and endoscopy technicians as needed to maintain patient flow.
  • Assure safety is maintained and infection control measures are followed.
  • Communicate with the manager safety and infection control issues.
  • Reallocate and/or reassign staff throughout the day according to patient and staffing needs with communication among charge nurses and manager.
  • Assist in maintaining supply levels.
  • Assist the manager in creating the monthly schedules, daily staffing assignments, timecards and records of attendance.
  • Provide daily supervision, oversight, direction, and monitoring of all direct reports.
  • Provide final oversight and approval on the quality of work produced by the team to ensure established processes and procedures are followed.
  • Responsible for the management of the team to include staff productivity, hours worked, and team responsibilities.
  • Assist in orientation and training of new staff members.
  • Hire staff, to include interviewing candidates select the best applicant based on skills, knowledge, and abilities required for the job.
  • Assists with performance evaluations.
