Owned and operated by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Arts Landing is a four-acre outdoor civic space, with a grand opening at the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival in June 2026. This dynamic amenity will feature a one-acre Great Lawn, a permanent stage, Downtown’s first playground, restrooms, pickleball courts, and more. Summer 2026 activities will include food truck lunches, fitness classes, movie nights, musical performances, and family “mini-festivals,” all free and open to the general public. Arts Landing Assistant Managers support the daily operation, activation, and stewardship of this new outdoor space. Reporting to the Director of Public Spaces and working closely with Venue Operations staff, their responsibilities include guest experience; staff, vendor, and volunteer coordination; and the successful execution of programming within a dynamic outdoor environment. This role balances hands-on physical work with real-time operational decision-making and customer service. This is a part-time position working primarily evening and weekend hours with some daylight opportunities. Regular evening and weekend availability is required. The Trust envisions hiring more than one individual for this position; at least one individual will likely be employed for year-round responsibilities; other individual(s) may be hired for a seasonal period (May – September). Responsibilities will be primarily outside, with an indoor hub available. Assistant Managers will work independently as well as work with other full- and part- time staff and contractors, including those responsible for Arts Landing maintenance and security. Assistant Managers are scheduled to work between four and eight hours per shift. Assistant Managers have no guarantee for the number of hours or events worked. Hours will be determined by the needs of the Trust and will coincide with events scheduled at Trust facilities.
