Assistant Machine Operator
About The Position
Temp To Full-Time Pay is Based On Experience: $15 to $17 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ? Load and feed stock into machine. ? If needed, build up honeycomb pallets used to stack finished product. ? Assist line operator with setup procedure. ? Examine finished product for defects. Fill out quality control log. ? Stack finished product on honeycomb or wooden pallets and put load tags. ? Record jobs time and manufactured quantities. ? Transport finished product by pallet jack or lift trucks and move it to warehouse storage. ? Move waste from production lines to dumpsters / waste trailer / shredder. ? Assist line operator with cleanup of the machine. ? Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in. ? Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs). ? Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on machines. Complete daily logs. ? Communicate with operators from other shifts. ? Clean and maintain work area and machine. ? Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use. ? Other duties as assigned.
