About The Position

The Warehouse Logistics Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all warehouse and logistics operations. This role ensures efficient storage, inventory accuracy, on-time shipments, and optimized workflow in compliance with safety and quality standards. The manager leads warehouse staff, collaborates with suppliers and internal departments, and drives continuous improvements to streamline supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Maintain and optimize layout and storage systems to ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Ensure all inbound and outbound operations meet company quality standards.
  • Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Plan and manage transportation schedules for timely deliveries.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to improve logistics performance.
  • Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, regulatory, and company logistics procedures.
  • Manage inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Oversee use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ensure data accuracy.
  • Develop strategies to minimize stockouts, overstocking, and loss.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse and logistics personnel.
  • Create staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, ISO standards, or other regulatory requirements.
  • Track KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and operational costs.
  • Provide management with regular operational reports.
  • Implement process improvements, automation, and best practices to enhance efficiency.
