About The Position

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Lecturer to join the Graduate Program of Addictive Behaviours at Monash University. The Graduate Program of Addictive Behaviours is delivered fully online and features leading experts from around the world who provide cutting-edge knowledge in this rapidly evolving field. The program offers flexible, high-quality education designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to address addiction in professional practice. This position will contribute to teaching and learning across these units, fostering student engagement and supporting their success. The role involves designing and delivering workshops, tutorials, journal clubs, forums, and digital collaborative activities. The Assistant Lecturer will collaborate to ensure an engaging student experience, contribute to assessments, provide timely feedback and support unit coordination and improvement. The position also offers opportunities to engage in teaching and research with Turning Point and the Monash Addiction Research Centre (MARC), fostering integration of teaching and research. We are seeking someone with an honours degree or higher qualifications in a relevant discipline, with experience in tertiary teaching and assessment, curriculum development and the use of online learning technologies such as Moodle, Zoom, Panopto and other digital tools. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a student-centred learning environment are also essential. Requirements
