Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen supervisory role
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred

Responsibilities

Assist the Kitchen Manager in supervising daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback
Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items
Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing labor costs
Address customer feedback and resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly
