Key responsibilities include: Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth, efficient service in a fast-paced environment Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing kitchen team through strong, hands-on leadership Oversee prep and execution of plant-based dishes, maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation standards Develop and refine menus inspired by regional flavors, translating culinary traditions into innovative vegan offerings Transform fresh, seasonal, and heirloom ingredients into exciting, approachable, and health-forward meals Embrace a true farm-to-table philosophy, participating in menu planning that reflects what's locally grown, harvested, and at peak freshness Coordinate closely with the team to ensure timely, accurate, and well-executed dishes during service Uphold and enforce food safety, sanitation, and organizational standards across all kitchen activities Manage inventory, ordering, and prep planning to minimize waste and maximize efficiency Champion sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction and environmentally conscious kitchen practices Stay current on food trends and continuously explore new ingredients, techniques, and flavor profiles Bring enthusiasm for storytelling through food, including a willingness to participate in on-camera cooking, social content, or other food media opportunities Position requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent is desired A minimum of 3-5 years of professional culinary experience is required.
