Assistant Kitchen Manager
About The Position
Common Man Roadside is hiring an Assistant Kitchen Manager for our Tru Hotel location in Manchester's historic Millyard! Come work with our amazing team at this fun, growing location right in downtown Manchester. We offer seasonal menus and specialties, outdoor patio seating, and space for special events. We also host trivia nights, holiday brunches, and creative nights out, appealing to a wide variety of guests. The Assistant Kitchen Manager will support the Kitchen Manager and their team in the operations and performance of the kitchen. This is a working management role- our managers work on the line and prep food, offer hands-on training, guidance, and development of staff, and assist customers. Requirements
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 3 years culinary experience
- Must be able to obtain/maintain relevant certifications, including ServSafe
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, squat, bend and reach
- Must be able to lift/ carry packages up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the planning and preparation of food production
- Ordering and inventory management
- Daily paperwork, reporting, and logs
- Safety and sanitation
- Employee management, including scheduling, training, and development
