About The Position

Durango School District is accepting applications for Assistant Ice Hockey Coach to assist the head coach with all duties of the program and be an advocate for the student athletes. Proactive, responsible coaching during games and practices and throughout the season. Additional responsiblites outside of the season to prepare may be necessary as well. The season begins in November 2025.

Requirements

• Valid CHSAA Certification, or Colorado Teaching Certificate/License
• Fundamental knowledge of Hockey
• Experience working with related school aged athletes/students
• Ability to work as an integral part of the coaching staff
• Current medical injury treatment course work

• Assist the head coach with all duties of the program
