2025-2026 Assistant Baseball Coach - Sherwood High School Position Start Date: March 2, 2026 JV/Freshmen Head Coaching Position Previous high school coaching experience recommended. The coach will assist the varsity coach in all aspects of the program and will be responsible for a sub-varsity team. The applicant must be able to display the following attributes: A commitment to high ethical and professional standards A demonstrated ability to lead young student-athletes toward academic and athletic excellence A strong ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders Skilled in organization, time management and a commitment to the vision of the Sherwood Athletic Program A great understanding of the training, skill development and coaching techniques involved in high school baseball The ability to generate excitement and enthusiasm for the sport of baseball throughout the community A commitment to the importance of academic excellence and achievement for all student-athletes in the program Your application should include: A cover letter detailing your experience related to this position and working with students.
