About The Position

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is seeking a talented and dynamic Assistant Housekeeping Manager to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our guest accommodations and all front- and back-of-house areas. This role is highly hands-on, overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry department by implementing and managing planned cleaning schedules. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Front Office team to ensure guest rooms are prepared promptly and meet Four Seasons' exceptional standards. Additionally, they support Supervisors in training and supervising housekeeping and laundry staff and assume full responsibility for the department in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director of Housekeeping.

Requirements

  • Previous Housekeeping Supervisor or Management and laundry experience, preferably in a luxury hotel/resort.
  • Ability to communicate professionally in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and has the ability to learn other Four Seasons proprietary programs.
  • Previous experience with OPERA PMS and HotSOS.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and hands-on guidance to a team of Room Attendants, House Attendants, and Valet/Laundry staff, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and upkeep across all assigned hotel areas.
  • Oversee interviewing, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions for team members.
  • Organize and assign daily work schedules; collect room and floor status reports for designated areas.
  • Monitor each Room Attendant's progress throughout the day and inspect completed rooms to ensure all standards are met. When deficiencies are found, provide hands-on coaching to correct issues.
  • Coordinate and follow up on work orders within assigned sections, ensuring timely completion.
  • Release checkout rooms for sale once they meet Four Seasons standards.
