The club features two 18-hole championship golf courses , including the recently renovated Lakes Course , scheduled to reopen prior to year-end, providing an exciting and dynamic setting for a developing PGA professional. Palm Aire Country Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional who is actively enrolled in the PGA Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program and eager to continue building a long-term career in the golf industry. Requirements Position Overview The Assistant Golf Professional supports the Head Golf Professional and golf leadership team in all aspects of daily golf operations. This is a hands-on, highly interactive role focused on member service, instruction, tournament operations and professional development. This position is well-suited for a motivated PGA Associate seeking meaningful experience, mentorship and exposure within a high-quality private club environment. Professional Development Opportunity Palm Aire Country Club is committed to the growth of its Assistant Golf Professionals. The selected candidate will receive exposure to all facets of golf operations and be supported in progressing through the PGA PGM Program , including instructional development, tournament administration, merchandising and leadership experience.

Requirements

• Active enrollment in the PGA Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program (Level 2 Associate minimum preferred)
• 1–2 years of golf facility experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of golf operations, rules of golf and tournament procedures
• Interest in teaching, player development and member engagement
• Familiarity with golf technology platforms; experience with ClubEssential, Golf Genius and Jonas POS preferred
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude and service-oriented mindset
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

• PGA Member in good standing strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in all daily golf operations including the golf shop, practice facilities, outside services and course operations
• Provide private and group instruction, clinics, junior golf programs and player development initiatives
• Assist with tournament and event planning, setup, scoring, rules administration and execution
• Maintain a visible presence, fostering positive relationships with members and guests
• Support golf shop operations including merchandising, inventory control, receiving, labeling and POS transactions
• Assist with tee sheet management, pace of play monitoring and starter or marshal duties
• Supervise and support outside services staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with USGA handicap administration and Rules of Golf enforcement
• Support junior golf programming and youth engagement initiatives
• Assist with cart fleet oversight and basic equipment maintenance
• Utilize golf management software systems for tournaments, tee times and member accounts
