Your Opportunity We are seeking a motivated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support hotel operations and serve as second-in-command. The AGM partners with the General Manager to lead the team, uphold brand standards, and ensure Schahet Hotels’ culture is present every day. In the GM’s absence, the AGM oversees all hotel leadership and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hotel leadership experience , such as:
  • Guest Service Manager
  • Sales Manager
  • Operations Manager
  • Front Office Manager
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to guest service and team development

Responsibilities

  • Support the GM in daily hotel operations and associate leadership
  • Lead the property when the GM is away
  • Drive guest satisfaction and maintain strong survey scores
  • Coach teams and implement action plans for improvement
  • Oversee guest service operations and ensure excellent procedures
  • Partner with Housekeeping and Engineering to resolve issues quickly
  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback and social media reviews
  • Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training
  • Conduct daily property and guestroom inspections
  • Support scheduling, payroll, HR processes, and compliance
  • Assist with budgeting, sales efforts, reporting, and corporate requests
  • Step into departments as needed to support operations
