The Role As the Assistant General Manager, you support the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations. You help lead front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations, exceptional service, and strong financial results. Requirements

  • Previous hotel leadership experience highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and service standards
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem solving skills
  • Professional, dependable, and able to lead by example
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Passionate about hospitality and building strong teams

Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager with daily hotel operations and leadership tasks
  • Oversee department leaders and help ensure smooth interdepartmental communication
  • Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Maintain guest satisfaction by resolving issues and supporting service recovery
  • Monitor hotel cleanliness, safety, and brand compliance
  • Assist with financial performance, budgeting, and cost controls
  • Lead by example to maintain a positive, professional environment
  • Support implementation of hotel initiatives, procedures, and standards
  • Ensure staffing levels support service needs across the hotel
  • Act as Manager on Duty when needed
