About The Position

As the Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Mallard Manufacturing, a MacLean-Fogg Company, you will play a critical leadership role in managing and optimizing operations across a large-scale manufacturing plant with approximately 250 employees. You will drive efficiency, cost control, and production excellence while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field
Experience in automotive, aerospace, or other high-volume manufacturing industries
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
Hands-on experience leading large-scale continuous improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations across production, maintenance, logistics, and cost control functions
Lead and support department managers to ensure alignment with company goals
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in efficiency, productivity, and resource management
Monitor and enforce compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards
Conduct safety audits and resolve compliance issues quickly and effectively
Manage plant budgets, cost accounting, and financial performance reporting
Develop and implement policies, systems, and procedures to optimize plant operations
Prepare and present reports on plant performance, production schedules, and operational metrics
Lead recruitment, training, performance management, and career development of plant personnel
Promote 5S principles to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
