The Role: Assistant General Manager As an Assistant General Manager, you’ll partner directly with the General Manager to lead daily operations, develop team members, and ensure exceptional site performance. This is a hands on, active leadership role primarily based outdoors, ideal for someone who leads from the front and enjoys being part of daily operations. You’ll gain the experience and training needed to step into a future General Manager position.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working outdoors in an active, fast paced environment
  • Strong leadership potential with a desire to advance into General Management
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and lead by example
  • Positive, professional, and team-focused attitude
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Background check required upon application
  • Weekend availability required

  • Prior supervisory, leadership, or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support daily site operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and high performance
  • Maintain equipment through routine cleaning, inspections, and preventative maintenance
  • Monitor and restock operational supplies, chemicals, and materials
  • Develop strong knowledge of wash systems and operational processes
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and daily team coordination
  • Train and mentor new hires while supporting ongoing employee development
  • Reinforce company standards, safety procedures, and accountability
  • Foster a positive, energetic, and team oriented culture
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and lead by example
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
  • Assist with customer claims, escalations, and service recovery
  • Ensure every guest interaction reflects the Glow brand
  • Assist with cash handling procedures and pay station operations
  • Monitor labor performance and sales results
  • Support payroll accuracy and operational reporting
  • Follow all company policies related to cash handling and expenses
  • Coach team members on customer engagement and membership sales
  • Support promotions and site level sales initiatives
  • Maintain performance tracking tools and team leaderboards
  • Contribute ideas that drive membership growth and retention
