Assistant General Manager for new local brewery
About The Position
We're beginning recruitment for our new, snazzy Ft Myers, FL brewery! The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is integral to providing a superior experience for both staff and guests. The AGM reports to the General Manager and executes daily operations for both the front- and back-of-house. It is of upmost importance to us that the AGM of our FL site adapts to the RBC culture and brings our FU Awesome energy, vibe, and history to our new friends down south. This full-time position oversees various taproom functions, enforces policy and procedures, ensures guests have an FU Awesome experience, supports and supervises staff, coordinates schedules, maintains quality standards, and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations. A successful AGM will foster a positive work culture that reflects brand values. Strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for craft beer/cider/cocktails and hospitality are essential. As part of the restaurant industry, weekend and evening availability are required. Starting salary is $42,000 to $50,000 annually based on education, experience and interview.
Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma; advanced degree a plus
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a restaurant setting; brewery/beverage industry a plus
- Strong knowledge of full-service restaurant operations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff
- Exceptional guest service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Knowledge of health, safety, and food handling regulations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office computer applications
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for craft beverages, hospitality, and delivering memorable guest experiences
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
