About The Position

This position is responsible for long-term strategy, integrated market planning, in-market execution, and brand equity development. The Senior Brand Manager leads cross-functional alignment, oversees a brand manager, and drives financial and organizational impact by guiding brand direction, establishing and leading a portfolio strategy, activating consumer engagement, and supporting commercial performance. The preferred candidate for this role will need to reside in or relocate to the state of Michigan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent, MBA a preferred.
  • 5+ years’ Classical CPG marketer or creative / agency background with strong commercial acumen
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Proven experience leading complex brand portfolios and cross-functional initiatives
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in interpreting market research, business performance data, and financial metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and implement marketing activities to maximize sales of an assigned brand grounded in consumer insights, customer needs, and marketplace dynamics.
  • Analyze brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develop strategies based on research and analysis.
  • Optimize the brand portfolio to maximize growth, profitability, and long-term equity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective brand communication across all channels.
  • Ensure brand consistency and excellence across all consumer and customer touchpoints.
  • Build the annual Programming Calendar in priority National Accounts for On and Off Premise Channels with Chain & Shopper Marketing Teams
  • Represent the brand at key customer and distributor meetings to support program sell in, strategy communication, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Work closely in partnership with cross-functionals and Sales to build creative & engaging brand plans and GTM strategies to support our Mission and Growth Goals
  • Own and manage the brand budget, ensuring effective allocation of marketing investments and maximum return on investment.
  • Use data-driven insights to evaluate program performance and optimize future plans.
  • Drive increased consumer engagement and improve brand health across major communications platforms.
