We’re looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our Boston team — someone who’s hungry to grow, excited to lead, and passionate about creating memorable guest and team experiences. About This Location This AGM role is based in Boston and offers a unique mix of seasonal ownership + citywide leadership support. During our summer season, you’ll be the day-to-day operator of our ‘Shack-in-a-Container’ in the Seaport — a high-energy, high-visibility location that thrives on warm-weather volume, fast service, and strong execution. This is a hands-on role where pace matters, teamwork is everything, and you’ll lead from the front to deliver an exceptional guest experience all season long. In the off season, you’ll transition to supporting our other Boston shacks, working primarily out of Back Bay or Downtown Crossing based on business needs. Back Bay is one of our largest and busiest fast-casual locations, making it an ideal place for a leader who enjoys high volume, strong standards, and building a consistent team culture. Across both seasons, you’ll get exposure to multiple operations styles while staying rooted in one market — ideal for someone who’s excited to grow, develop others, and take real ownership of results. What You’ll Do You’ll help us deliver high-quality, sustainably sourced seafood that keeps guests returning. If you love leading by example, have an intrinsic passion for engaging guests, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to make great experiences happen, this role is for you.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate joy leading people and serving guests
  • A positive attitude, curiosity, and commitment to continuous growth
  • Passion for the best tasting and highest quality seafood
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong financial acumen or eagerness to learn (P&Ls, COGS, etc.)
  • Ability to handle or be exposed to shellfish
  • Required food handler certification
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position (the ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds)

Nice To Haves

  • Direct customer facing experience, to include restaurant management experience, is a plus but not required
