The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of hotel operations, including daily staff management, guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, cost control, and sales and revenue generation. This role assists the General Manager in driving the strategic vision and implementation of both Vista Host and brand-wide initiatives, focusing on exceeding guest expectations and building relationships with key customers. The Assistant General Manager is an energetic, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys hands-on leadership. This role is ideal for someone who: Has experience in hotel operations and management, ideally within a mid-scale or limited-service brand. Is passionate about providing exceptional guest service and can motivate a team to achieve high service standards. Is adaptable, able to cover shifts in various departments as needed, and enjoys a hands-on approach to management. Excels in human resources management, with strong skills in recruiting, training, and developing team members. Has a strong focus on financial and cost control, with the ability to oversee accounting functions such as accounts payable, receivable, and petty cash.
