As the company continues to grow, it is entering an exciting new chapter, having welcomed James Beard Award-winning chef April Bloomfield to its culinary leadership team and bringing new energy to iconic and emerging destinations alike—with projects like the historic Driskill Hotel, Sixth & Blanco, Clark’s Malibu, and more on the horizon. MML is currently hiring for roles across Texas, California, Colorado, and Louisiana, and is bringing its signature style of hospitality to Dallas with the opening of three new concepts: Clark’s Oyster Bar, Neighborhood Sushi, and Swedish Hill. Assistant General Managers within MML are responsible for assisting with overall operations of the restaurant including guest satisfaction, team development, financial performance, and brand integrity. The ideal candidate is a hospitality-driven leader with a deep understanding of fine dining culture, a strong business acumen, and a commitment to creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Requirements

  • A deep enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering extraordinary service.
  • Skilled at keeping everyone in sync, whether with guests, team members, or senior leadership.
  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and cultivate high-performing teams.
  • Ability to effortlessly oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and high-performing workflow.
  • English fluency required.
  • At least two years of progressive management experience in the restaurant industry.
  • Must undergo a comprehensive background check, including verification of employment history, education credentials, criminal records, and other relevant information.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish fluency is a plus!
  • Preference for boutique or upscale dining establishments experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily operations, ensuring excellent service, team performance, and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and leading staff while fostering a positive, growth-oriented work environment.
  • Maintain high standards in food, service, and hospitality through hands-on supervision and mentoring.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability.
  • Support marketing efforts, programming, and guest engagement strategies to drive traffic and retention.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth front and back-of-house coordination.
  • Uphold health, safety, and regulatory compliance at all times.
  • Build strong community relationships and a loyal base of regular guests.
