About The Position
Assistant Food Service Director needed for school food service in the Bergen County, NJ area. Day shift position, 6 to 7 hours per day. 10- month assignment , no weekends or holidays, summers off! Must possess strong management, and leadership skills, experience in food service is required. Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in a school district. Proficient in Google Workplace and Microsoft Programs; Excel, Word, Publisher, etc. Travel between Bergen, Hudson, Passaic Counties

Responsibilities
- Overseeing the needs of the school district.
- Professional client communication.
- Assure that staff is maintaining the highest food safety and quality.
- Work hand and hand with the food service director.
- Must maintain a full staff, hire as needed.
- Assign training as needed.
- Assist in counseling/ and or disciplinary actions as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
