Palmetto Bluff is nestled along the May River in the Lowcountry of South Carolina between Hilton Head Island and Savannah. As an award-winning 20,000-acre development, the development encompasses a private member-only club that includes a marina, restaurants, an equestrian center, a shooting club, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, a lawn and racquet club, and more. In addition, Palmetto Bluff has an extensive nature preserve, walking trails, retail shopping, and a vibrant village, all of which pay homage to the region’s rich heritage. Job Summary: Responsible for adherence to service standards and day-to-day functions in the restaurant. Directs front-of-the-house restaurant staff to ensure smooth service and stimulate sales. Consistently conduct pre-shift meetings with all front and back-of-house employees. Interact with all guests and members to ensure highly personalized service. Active in all service operations, specifically, but not limited to presenting menus to guests, taking orders, answering the telephone, receiving reservation requests, managing reservations to meet business demands, serving and clearing food and beverages, greeting and seating guests, as well as recording and maintaining related schedules and information. Will cross-train in and, at times, support other Club Restaurants and Banquet/Catering operations as needed.
