About The Position

The Assistant Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the supervision and training of field technicians. This role involves overseeing inventory ordering, distribution of tools to field technicians, van inventory, and contractor management. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • BPI Building Analyst and Envelope certifications as required by program and client guidelines.
  • Other certifications may be required by utility.
  • Strong technical experience skills and/or in-depth knowledge of home construction concepts.
  • Valid driver’s license required and use of personal vehicle may be necessary per location.
  • Compliance with acceptable vehicle insurance levels as outlined in the company policy.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change when needed.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Proven ability to meet objectives.
  • Perform the essential functions and physical demands of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years' energy industry experience preferred
  • Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory usage and coordinate with the inventory coordinator to manage orders, ensuring timely and accurate support for all departments.
  • Track and conduct monthly van inventories.
  • Provide necessary inventory reports as required by supervisors.
  • Address customer complaints and provide resolution support.
  • Prepare and share metrics on field installations with supervisors and managers.
  • Monitor installations and ensure technician reliability and performance is consistent with client expectations.
  • Oversee training and provide daily support for multiple projects, including those involving technical energy analysis and testing systems.
  • Assist in delivering performance management, coaching, counseling, and compliance oversight for the field team.
  • Support operational efficiency by monitoring the dispatch and performance of other support functions.
  • Collaborate with distributors to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities on materials.
  • Manage inventory of supplied materials and company-issued equipment to ensure accountability and availability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
