About The Position

The Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising the activities of the field staff. This role ensures production goals are achieved and work complies with CMC, client, and utility program procedures and guidelines. The supervisor also directs and coordinates field programs to ensure maximum productivity, energy savings, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years' prior supervisory experience preferred.
2-4 years’ energy industry experience preferred.
BPI Building Analyst and Envelope certifications as required by program and client guidelines.
Other certifications may be required by utility.
Strong knowledge of energy efficiency products and programs.
Demonstrated ability to supervise, analyze, manage time, set priorities, make decisions, manage conflict, resolve disputes, and work constructively as part of a team.
Strong supervision skills to lead, direct, coach and mentor.
Strong communication, both verbal and written, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of integrity and ethics.
Strong attention to detail while maintaining accurate documentation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change when needed.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Proven ability to meet objectives.
Knowledge of industry best practices.
Ability to travel to company offices as required.
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
Compliance with acceptable vehicle insurance levels as outlined in the company policy.
Perform the essential functions and physical demands of the position with or without accommodation.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Intermediate Excel skills required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree and industry related experience preferred.
2+ years' prior supervisory experience preferred.
2-4 years’ energy industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage, coach and mentor direct reports to ensure staff is performing effectively and at the highest potential to achieve program and company organizational goals. This includes interviewing, planning, assigning, completing performance evaluations, coaching, and directing work.
Mentor technicians through ongoing training and regularly scheduled team meetings, proactively addressing any issues or concerns.
Set and implement operational, production, and energy efficiency goals for the team, while identifying opportunities to enhance performance.
Manage inventory materials specific to each location, ensuring teams are fully equipped to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
Oversee proper maintenance and storage of company equipment, vehicles, and materials in accordance with site requirements.
Perform site-visits, audits and inspections as needed and ensure all work is performed in accordance with company and program guidelines.
Responsible for dispute resolution of customer concerns both on-site and remotely while maintaining same or next day business turn around.
Act on-site to bring substandard measures and installations up to program standards when possible.
Install program measures when needed.
Assess work orders to assign crews appropriately to maximize team utilization and collaborate with the Customer Care Department to coordinate schedules and to verify jobs are completed timely.
Supervise the maintenance of accurate records, photos and proper documentation of all field.
Ensure work is performed in accordance with stated program guidelines and in compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
