S. Clyde Weaver is looking for an Assistant Farmer's Market Manager at our Lancaster County Farmer's Market in Wayne, PA! This position is a part-time position Thursday - Saturday for estimated 15-20 hours per week. Job Duties and Responsibilities Customer Experience Create an excellent customer experience by assisting market customers with anything they need. This can mean answering any questions customers have on vendors or products, helping them find the stands/vendors who sell the item(s) they need, showing them where restrooms are located, helping them get carts or baskets, etc. Be present and visible when at the market and be a point of contact for customers. Answer any general market questions or phone calls as they come in. Social Media/Marketing Create engaging content and marketing strategies to help promote LCFM social media accounts. Create social media posts, reels, and live videos for LCFM accounts. This can include content such as featuring and highlighting specific vendors and market stands, highlighting seasonal products or offerings, videos of samplings or events as they are happening, etc. Stay up-to-date on the “happenings” at the LCFM. Create social media event pages for any samplings or events to increase visibility and so customers can RSVP online. Vendor Services Be a point-of-contact for any vendor questions as they may arise and help to create a great vendor/market relationship. Assist with managing vendor relationships and communications. General Property Responsibilities Ability to open and/or close the market when needed. Help maintain indoor/outdoor aesthetics and create a friendly and welcoming environment. General cleaning and upkeep throughout the building including customer areas, restrooms, seating area, and common spaces.
