The Assistant Facilities Manager plays a key leadership role by supporting the Facilities Manager in all responsibilities outlined in the Facilities Manager job description. This position requires a highly driven, self‑motivated individual who takes full ownership of tasks, consistently delivers results, and does not hesitate to take on any maintenance or operational challenge. The role includes assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of all activities related to maintenance, renovation, new construction, energy management, telecommunications, custodial operations, and groundskeeping across all designated County buildings and properties. The Assistant Facilities Manager may supervise departmental staff as well as oversee outside contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to departmental standards.
