Requirements

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards.
  • Experienced in hotel housekeeping operations, with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and inventory control.
  • Skilled in time management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Proficient in property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant management role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas consistently meet company, brand, and cleanliness standards.
  • Lead and support housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, and public area attendants, fostering teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
  • Participate in daily room inspections to ensure quality control, proper maintenance, and brand presentation standards.
  • Coordinate closely with the front desk and engineering teams to prioritize and expedite room readiness.
  • Help manage scheduling, labor costs, and payroll tracking to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Assist with inventory control of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and cost management.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of housekeeping staff, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and guest service.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, sanitation, and brand standards throughout all housekeeping operations.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Step in to oversee the department in the Executive Housekeeper’s absence, ensuring smooth operations at all times.
