The ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER is esponsible for the day to day operations of the hotel housekeeping department. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Provides support to the Executive Housekeeper in all areas of the Housekeeping operation, such as staff training, coaching, and counseling. Also enforces the hotel’s standard operating procedures, plans and allocates daily workload to housekeeping staff based on company needs, ensures that staff follows housekeeping policies, assists the Executive Housekeeper in the financial forecast, budget preparation, and expense management activities, generates reports related to expenses, labor, etc., addresses guest complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, assist in employee hiring, training, performance evaluation, retention and termination activities, and educates staff about company policies, procedures and operations.
