About The Position

At Wedgwood Companies, the Events Team focuses on creating meaningful connections and driving growth within the communities they serve. They are seeking an organized, driven Assistant Events Coordinator who is ready to make an impact. The role is full-time, located in Meridian, and offers $30/hr plus performance bonuses. Requirements

  • 2+ years in event coordination, marketing, or related field (or associate’s degree)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 2+ years previous experience in Event and/or Retail Marketing or other related fields and/or an Associates degree
  • Ability to build rapport with all internal and external contacts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relationship Building
  • Adaptability

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify high-quality events
  • Manage full booking process from application to confirmation
  • Communicate with event organizers and internal teams
  • Maintain calendars, event lists, and documentation
  • Negotiate pricing, sponsorships, and booth placement
  • Track payments, reports, and documentation
