About The Position

Wichita Country Club is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our Events Department. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, including private functions, corporate gatherings, social activities, weddings, and club-sponsored events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for our members and guests.

Requirements

Experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Proficiency in event management software.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A customer-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee events from start to finish, ensuring smooth execution and member satisfaction.
Work closely with members and clients to understand event needs, manage bookings, and provide guidance on event logistics.
Collaborate with internal departments (culinary, banquet, facilities, etc.) to ensure seamless event operations.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, including catering, décor, entertainment, and rental services.
Manage event budgets, contracts, and invoicing while ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Report to Director of Catering and Events
Ensure all events comply with club policies, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
Conduct post-event evaluations to improve future events and overall member experiences.
Helping with Reception as needed.
