Assistant Equipment Technician
About The Position
Woodfield Boca Raton is seeking an Assistant Equipment Technician to join our Golf Course Maintenance department. The Assistant reports directly to the Equipment Shop Manager. This program includes the repair of failing equipment, keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment, placing orders for parts and supplies needed for equipment service, and assisting with other tasks, as needed. The Assistant Equipment Technician places safety as a top priority and is responsible for maintaining a clean service area and maintenance building. This position works with the equipment manager to provide a clean and organized shop.
Requirements
- Club wide vaccination mandate for all employees

- Reel grinding experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Reel grinding experience preferred, but will train the right person
- Mechanical aptitude required including working knowledge of small engines and preventative maintenance
- Know how to use golf course maintenance equipment
- Follow safety policies/procedures (wearing PPE, maintaining equipment, etc.)
- Always communicates clearly and professionally
