Requirements
- Active RN license in Iowa (or ability to obtain).
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A passion for leadership and making a meaningful difference in residents' lives.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the admissions process, ensuring smooth transitions for new residents and families.
- Partner closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to plan, organize, and direct nursing operations.
- Conduct rounds to assess care delivery, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
- Mentor and guide team members, promoting both professional and personal growth.
- Support administrative functions to keep the department running efficiently.
- Participate in an on-call leadership rotation as part of the management team.
