The District Attorney's Office in District 11, which includes Franklin, Granville, Person, Vance and Warren Counties, seeks a qualified Assistant District Attorney to prosecute criminal cases. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to try felonies in Superior Court within their first year on staff or sooner depending on their level of experience and will also staff several days of district court per month. Residency is not a requirement for this position. However, you must have a reasonable commute time to your office, preferably forty-five minutes or less. Becoming an Assistant District Attorney in a rural, multi-county district is an opportunity to truly make a difference in your community.
