The Assistant Director is a member of the Center for Student Engagement, Activities, and Leadership. The Center is a part of the Division of Student life and is comprised of the Office of Student Activities; The Wilks Institute for Leadership and Service; and the Cliff Alexander Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. The Assistant Director reports to the Associate Director of Student Activities and is responsible for advising Miami Activities and Programming and develop large scale campus wide events. The Assistant Director plays a central role in the facilitation and implementation of leadership development programs and the execution of educational programming around strategic co-curricular involvement. The Assistant Director works collaboratively with students, advisors, faculty, and campus departments to build strong networks for student success. The Assistant Director represents the Center through multiple campus committees that support the mission to advance a student centered co-curricular experience. The Assistant Director also fosters close working relationships across the Division of Student Life; other campus stakeholders, and the City of Oxford.
