Requirements

  • Doctoral degree or Master’s degree with extensive experience in mental health or a related field working with youth and families
  • Must possess a Missouri license as a Psychologist, LCSW, LPC, PLCSW, or PLPC
  • Extensive knowledge of crisis intervention, communication skills, and family education methods
  • Strong skills in child/adolescent assessment, observation, treatment planning, and collaboration with internal and external service providers
  • Experience and knowledge in providing family therapy
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
  • Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand, finger, and arm motions for typing or writing
  • Ability to sit for long periods with occasional walking or standing
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull small objects as needed

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director in leading the School Based Services department and ensuring high‑quality delivery of mental health services
  • Supervise supervisors and, when needed, School‑Based Support Specialists or Clinicians to ensure strong performance and staff development
  • Oversee productivity expectations, chart compliance, program requirements, and staff adherence to procedures
  • Provide individual, group, family, and practical counseling services aligned with client needs and treatment goals
  • Carry a limited caseload and participate in client staffing meetings to establish goals, interventions, and treatment plans
  • Participate in emergency response efforts, offering rapid support in crisis situations
  • Coordinate comprehensive follow‑up services for assigned clients
  • Identify training needs for staff and develop, coordinate, or implement trainings in collaboration with the Education & Training Coordinator
  • Assist with HR‑related tasks including interviewing, coaching, disciplinary processes, and documentation as needed
  • Present educational materials to community groups to strengthen awareness and understanding of mental health
  • Participate in required meetings, staff development activities, and quality assurance procedures
  • Maintain compliance with clinical documentation standards, operational guidelines, and ethical codes
  • Support the development and execution of special projects as needed by leadership
  • If eligible, provide licensure supervision for up to three PLPC and/or LMSW employees
