About The Position

Coordinates, controls and directs functions relating to patient registration activities to ensure the accuracy of registration for maximum reimbursement and the highest level of patient satisfaction is provided to all FirstHealth guests. Versatility to perform planning, evaluation, scheduling, reviewing and controlling procedures. Ability to communicate effectively. Must be computer literate. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate plus two years additional education in accounting or business administration.
  • Two to three years experience in a business office environment and insurance work, preferable in hospital or similar institution.
  • Supervisory/management experience in a similar role
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Two-year associates degree or four-year degree in relevant major preferred.
  • Certification from AAHAM, NAHAM, HFMA preferred.
