About The Position

We’re looking for an Assistant Director of Product Management to join our Corporate Treasury team and to shape the future of our enterprise-wide Treasury capabilities. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Corporate Treasury product family, including cash management, payments, and bank account services, and Treasury Management System capabilities. You will be responsible for defining product strategy, prioritizing technology initiatives, and ensuring successful delivery and operational performance of Treasury products across the Principal Enterprise. You’ll build strong partnerships with stakeholders across the enterprise and cultivate a high-performing team by developing, mentoring, and motivating staff to achieve shared goals. You’ll guide the team by prioritizing efforts and turning priorities into team objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in product management leadership or corporate treasury.
  • Strong knowledge of Kyriba or similar SaaS-based treasury management system
  • Ability to work across global time zones and collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complexity into clarity.
  • Skilled at coaching, developing, or leading product professionals.
  • Motivated by challenge, accountability, and the opportunity to elevate a critical enterprise capability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and prioritization for Treasury technology, ensuring team focus’ on work that drives the most value.
  • Owns prioritization decisions in partnership with team, technology, and business leaders.
  • Drive successful outcomes for Treasury initiatives by removing roadblocks, influencing collaborators, and ensuring measurable results.
  • Shape the vision for Treasury products, staying aligned with broader finance and enterprise strategies.
  • Build deep, and trusted relationships with internal partners, gaining a clear understanding of their goals, challenges, and what creates value.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing product team, providing coaching, feedback, talent development, and clear direction.
  • Collaborate across time zones to support a global product toolset and ensure alignment with international partners.
  • Serve as supplier manager for our Treasury Management System, guiding vendor direction by influencing their roadmap and managing spend to achieve the right outcomes.
