About The Position

Our mission is to advocate for and provide support and services to people with developmental and other disabilities, emphasizing choice and full community engagement. SUMMARY: Coordinates and manages the daily operations of residential services, with primary responsibility for Madison or Cortland programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsibility for the overall day to day operations of Madison/Cortland division of residential services including but not limited to department recruitment and hiring, payroll, scheduling, supervision, and fiscal expenditures. Directly supervises residence managers and relief staff regarding daily operations of all residential sites; provides on-going indirect supervision and support for all residential direct care staff. Assist in preparation of department policies and procedures. Executes agency and department policies and procedures to assure quality and continuity of services, staff efforts, and agency goals. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate's degree with a minimum of five years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Valid NYS Driver's License with 12 month driving history.

  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
