About The Position

The Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center is looking for an Assistant Director Of Rehab (ADOR) /PTA. Carlton Shores, located in Daytona Beach, FL, is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility dedicated to helping residents maximize their potential and live their lives to the fullest. The Assistant Director will support the Director of Rehab in overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality patient care, supervising therapy staff, and promoting clinical excellence across physical, occupational, and speech therapy disciplines.

Requirements

• Licensed PTA
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Knowledge of EMR systems and rehab compliance standards (e.g., Medicare, HIPAA, CMS guidelines)

Nice To Haves

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising day-to-day rehabilitation operations
• Provide clinical guidance and support to therapy staff (PT, OT, SLP, assistants, and aides)
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies
• Monitor patient care delivery and outcomes to ensure high standards of treatment
• Participate in staff hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Assist with documentation audits and quality assurance initiatives
• Support department budget management, resource allocation, and supply procurement
• Step into direct patient care responsibilities as needed
