The Assistant Director is responsible for administering the process for top students and alumni to pursue nationally competitive awards, providing clear direction and guidance for undergraduates, graduate students, and recent alumni. The emphasis is on the Fulbright U.S. Student Program and undergraduate awards NISO coordinates (Goldwater, Astronaut, Truman, Udall, etc.). At Purdue, you'll join a community where unrivaled pride and unlimited potential are more than just words-they're the foundation of how we work and grow, together. If you're ready to help build a better world through research that matters, take the next step and join us on this path. This is a hybrid position, but candidates must live within reasonable driving distance to the West Lafayette campus. When you join Purdue University, you join a community that keeps moving forward. For more than 150 years, we've been known for not only our groundbreaking work in STEM research, but also for our collective imagination, ingenuity and innovation. NISO, which is a part of the John Martinson Honors College, is here for all Purdue students. We are Purdue University's hub for 14 highly selective national and international awards, most of which require university nomination or endorsement. We coordinate the application, campus evaluation, and nomination processes from helping students learn about the scholarships, fellowships, and grants to submitting nominations to the granting foundations and programs. As a university level student services office, we work across colleges and schools to connect Purdue students with life changing opportunities. Join an exceptional team invested in student development.
