About The Position

Duties - Assistance with Day to Day Operations of Facility -Provide direct and indirect patient care in a pediatric setting - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric patients - Assist Director with Administrative duties - Review and analyze documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians - Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients - Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements

  • Have general pediatric nursing experience of which at least six (6) months must have been spent caring for medically fragile infants or children in a pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, PPEC or similar care setting.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Strong attention to detail for documentation review
  • Knowledge of medical records management and confidentiality protocols
  • Familiarity with nursing administration procedures and protocols
  • Understanding of patient rights and ethical nursing practices
  • Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to supervise and delegate tasks to other healthcare personnel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in home health or acute care settings is preferred
