White Oak Estates is seeking a motivated RN to fill our Assistant Director of Nursing position. The ADON helps to oversees the nursing department for our skilled nursing facility with a long term care and dedicated rehab wing. We have a beautiful center located at 400 Webber Rd in Spartanburg. This position opening is for an Assistant Director of Nursing, RN (full time, salary) This is an exciting time to be a partner of the White Oak Estates team! Our nurse managers excel in their roles and provide consistent and valuable support for the Director of Nursing. The ideal candidate is flexible and innovative with exhibits strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors Assists in coordinating and managing overall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies

Requirements

  • Current RN license
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and work well with others
  • RN and/or a minimum of three years experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in Geriatrics
  • Long term care and supervisory experience required
  • Knowledgeable in the interpretation of Federal, State, and local regulations relating to long-term care facilities

Responsibilities

  • Assists in coordinating and managing overall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies
  • Relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors
